Pico Park

When it comes to playing Pico Park online, this might be a truly unforgettable and engaging gaming experience. You need several friends to keep you company or otherwise you won’t be able to play this game. Up to 8 participants are allowed. What you need to do is to go through a bunch of hindrances. Each level presents you with a unique set of puzzles and obstacles. The rules are not explained and have to be picked up by players quickly. A trial and error approach might be the most appropriate. Most of these rules are not that complicated, you just need to pay attention. For example, you see an elevator going up and down with numbers going from 0 to 5 and backwards. That means you can plan the next time it will show a particular number. Another example involves a cube that you need to push as a team. A set of numbers are running on the cube. As it reaches zero, you should leave the block alone and stop, otherwise you will die.
There are purely mechanical obstacles too, that don’t require a lot of brainpower, but may be nonetheless difficult to overcome. A set of cliffs, bridges, elevators, falling bricks or electrocuted wires will do the trick and keep your team always on the lookout for something new. But no matter what you do, remember that you’re first and foremost a team and must act accordingly, always placing the interests of the group above your own.
Apart from the main figures, very few characters appear. The most common ones are little green crawlers who creep up in the most uncomfortable places and threaten to kill you. Other dangerous creatures lurking around include purple demons and spirits. Spirit is an apparition high above who follows you around. The main strategy to be applied against these guys is to look away while only one team member observes what they are up to. The purple demon is the easiest to get away from, you just need to jump whenever he is inside the chimney.
The game also involves several limitations. The most common limitation is the low battery. You need to spend energy wisely because your every move eats away some battery charge. Don’t be alarmed as the battery is being recharged as you play. You just need to communicate with other players on who is making the next move. Whatever you do, avoid moving all the players at once because your charge will immediately deplete and you’ll die.

The game challenges your intellectual potential. Many of the movements require intuitive knowledge of the laws of physics, such as how the objects’ different masses interact, how much speed do you need to throw yourself to the next cliff etc. The players need to be detail-oriented and, above all, cooperative. Working as a team is the key to success in Pico Park. As you level up, the challenges leading to the goal become more intricate and take more mental and team power to solve them. However, don’t be discouraged, even though you have no time to complete the round (41 seconds in some cases), you can always start from the top and replay the same adventure over again.
The design of the game is very minimalistic, I would say even simplistic. It reminds many players of the graphics design of earlier games and makes them a little nostalgic. Using cats as main characters was a smart move because they look adorable. Each kitty has its own colour and is faced with a different task. The type of obstacle the participants encounter defines what strategy they will take. In most cases, stacking up on top of each other or jumping from a particular height and in particular order will work out. At some levels, you can collect coins but they can’t be exchanged for new skills or powers. Some of the stages feature elevators and other moving objects. One of the most dangerous is the line of bricks that fall under your feet as you go. The best strategy for success here is to run as quickly as you can and don’t forget about other players. Have fun playing Pico Park, this simple and yet very compelling game!
