About us

Pico Park is a well-known game which has gained huge traction nowadays. The official version came out in 2016 and has been then renewed a couple of times, 2019 being the last version available on Windows 7 and higher. The game has been independently developed and is designed for several participants. Operating as a team is the core concept of Pico Park.
Each player impersonates a cartoonish big-headed character. Up to eight players in the current version are allowed. The plot is very weak and consists of endless hindrances that you need to overcome. The participants are tasked with finding a key to the door which will set them free and make it possible to reach the next level.

The objects in the maze are highly interactive and can be pushed, pulled, stocked up on top of each other and so on. But the real advantage lies in numbers. Unite your power, it gets easier to push or make high structures when you’re not alone.
The most typical challenges in the game are numerous jumps over the cliffs. As you stare into the abyss, remember your friends who always have your back. The art of synchronised or strictly ordered jumps and other actions is perfected by Pico Park developers. For example, the only way to get past the elevator or a flying bridge is to get all of the team at once onto the landing. And the only way to do it is to go quickly and climb up on top of each other. Plus, you always need to duck and avoid dangerous objects like green monstrous creatures or moving poles. The latter can be controlled by a system of buttons on the opposite side of the maze. Thus, it only makes sense to sometimes split your team.

There are several non-unique minigames which are inspired by popular series. For example, in one of the parts, members play tetris or bounce balls from their head to destroy rows of cubes.
Pico Park challenges several key skills. First of all, players learn to communicate effectively under pressure. They begin to plan ahead for possible collisions and their line of action. Not only do the players need to figure out the way to proceed, oftentimes they need to perform certain actions in total synchronicity. The game requires a logical approach and knowledge of basic laws of physics because object interactions resemble those in real life. Finally, some basic equilibrium skills and good reaction time would never hurt.

The game has 4 modes, namely, cooperation and competing modifications, online version and limitless play. Most people choose the standard version and work as a group. However, the most adventurous and competing individuals choose the second modification. Although we recommend playing with your friends locally, some guys prefer to play with strangers online. If you don’t involve an additional channel of communication such as a zoom call, soon the game will become chaotic because the participants won’t be able to develop a unified strategy. So keep in mind that the absolute paramount importance in this game goes to your ability to communicate clearly and adjust your actions according to the team’s needs.
